Important Highlights

New Features and Major Changes

  • Vault Viewer - Added a dedicated view for browsing search results. This view allows viewing all searched content without having to navigate to the location of the content within the book. Rather, the search results appears in a list and can each be fully expanded. This supports game elements (e.g. spells, items, etc), tables, and sidebars. Images are also supported in a limited fashion until a dedicated, searchable image gallery is available.
  • Vault Viewer - Added filtering and sorting of search results by level (e.g. spell level, item level, etc)
  • Vault Viewer - Added a full list of all available tags. This list is also searchable 
    • Tags are no longer found in the same search as other content, as this caused some confusing situations.
  • Vault Viewer - All sorting and filtering options for search results are now found under the "Advanced Search" button.
  • Vault Viewer - Favorites can be viewed all together in a "Browse Favorites" interface, allowing you to see and expand each favorite (item, table, etc.) in full without having to jump around the book or open individual windows. 
    • Favorites can be pinned, causing them to sort to the top of the favorites interface, and getting their own tab in the "Browse Favorites" interface.
  • Vault Viewer - The Chapter Outline is now attached to the book content when there's enough room, leaving the side panel available for other uses (e.g. recents, favorites, etc).

  • PF2 - Blood Lords Issue 3 is now available as part of the Blood Lords Adventure Path! Purchase Now

Game Mechanics

  • PF2 - The class kits for the CRB classes have been updated to the latest printing of the CRB.
  • PF2 - The sheath and bandolier adventuring gear items have been removed, as per the latest printing of the CRB.
  • PF1 - Temporary HP of variable values, such as from the false life spell, can now have the number of temp HP gained set on their source.
  • PF1 - The special materials of weapons/armor were displaying in the Special Abilities table, even when they had no active mechanical effects beyond potentially interacting with DR. Materials that do not have in-play effects, such as cold iron or darkwood, will no longer be shown there, while those that do will be shown while the item is equipped, such as adamantine which ignores hardness.

Bug Fixes and Minor Changes

  • Vault Viewer - added a "Table Options" button below tables that didn't already have a "View Full Table" button, allowing them to be favorited.
  • Vault Viewer - Improved outer spacing on narrow devices
  • Vault Viewer - Fixed tag filtering not being applied to keyword sub-items
  • SF - dispersing nanocyte arrays with ammunition was failing
  • PF2 - Clerics were not becoming trained in unarmed attacks.
  • PF2 - Heal/harm spells added by the cleric's divine font were not calculating their DC correctly.
  • PF2 - Druids with the Leaf Order were reporting 0 movement selections allowed for their leshy familiar.
  • PF2 - Maguses (magi?) weren't getting their studious spell slots above 18th level.
  • PF2 - The magus's inexorable iron hybrid study will now apply its granted temporary HP with an activation if Arcane Cascade is active, rather than requiring a 2H weapon to be equipped. Since the ability only checks for a 2H weapon at the beginning of the round, this allows temp HP to be retained even if the weapon is unequipped during the turn.
  • PF2 - Summoners with more than 10 evolution feats would see an error message about too many Evolution Abilities having been added to their eidolon.
  • PF2 - Archetype skill feats could show up in the swashbuckler's Stylish Tricks table without having the archetype.
  • PF2 - Characters with the Inventor Dedication feat were gaining a free modification for their innovation.
  • PF2 - The Chronoskimmer Dedication feat was listed as requiring the spellcasting as a prereq.
  • PF2 - The Magic Warrior Dedication feat wasn't correctly setting the tradition for its focus spells.
  • PF2 - The Specialized Beastmaster Companion feat wasn't allowing the addition of multiple specializations to your animal companions when taken multiple times.
  • PF2 - The Adaptive Anadi anadi heritage now includes an option to allow uncommon ancestries, to accommodate GM discretion in choosing your alternate form.
  • PF2 - Training a skill with the Skilled Heritage human heritage would not always count as having made a skill trained by an option, resulting in validation messages from certain feats.
  • PF2 - The Final Form tiefling feat did not have an activation to apply the feat's effects.
  • PF2 - Animal companions of characters using Automatic Bonus Progression rules were not increasing the number of damage dice of their Strikes upon becoming mature or specialized companions.
  • PF2 - Animal companions were getting an error message that they were not proficient with barding when viewing it in the purchase table.
  • PF2 - The ape animal companion's fist attack had the agile, finesse, and nonlethal traits.
  • PF2 - The ape animal companion's fist attack was not appearing on the printed character sheet.
  • PF2 - The Familiar's Focus familiar ability wasn't showing as valid for a psychic, even though they have a focus pool.
  • PF2 - The Valuables table was not showing any items to purchase.
  • PF2 - The glamorous buckler wasn't counting as a buckler for the swashbuckler's Buckler Expertise feat.
  • PF2 - Rings of wizardry were not allowing you to split the granted spell slots between different arcane spellcasting options, and could grant spell slots at levels you did not already have them.
  • PF2 - The glimpse weakness spell was missing its action and casting component.
  • PF2 - The spiritual guardian spell could not have its damage rolled.
  • PF2 - Damage bonuses from polymorph effects weren't being applied.
  • PF2 - The divine vessel spell adjustment was making Medium of smaller characters Huge instead of Large.
  • PF2 - The energy aegis spell adjustment was not granting resistance to positive and negative energy types.
  • PF2 - The persistent damage condition could not select the bleed damage type.
  • PF2 - The persistent damage condition could not add a flat damage value.
  • PF2 - Some creature abilities with activations to increase the damage dice of a Strike were not stacking properly with striking runes on that creature's weapons.
  • SF - Ability score caps at character creation were not reflecting bonuses from the character's race and theme.
  • SF - Drones were not gaining their master's languages.
  • SF - The angel subtype graft was granting the protective aura ability to creatures with a CR below 3.
  • SF - Weapons were showing on the Play tab even when their Show on Play Tab box was unchecked.
  • SF - The DC Modification adjustment would show an error when trying to select a target.
  • SF - An adjustment has been added for modifying the DC of a weapon's critical effects.
  • SF - The Extra Hit Points adjustment could result in decimal values for Hit Points.
  • SF - Text modifying a spell's effect was appearing in italics in the stat block.
  • PF1 - The unchained barbarian's rage was not applying fatigued when that option was checked.
  • PF1 - The brawler's martial flexibility now displays improved reminder text for the number of feats you can gain for a particular action spent.
  • PF1 - The fighter's opportunist archetype was not allowing addition of rogue talents with the Rogue Talent cunning edge.
  • PF1 - The spiritualist's necrologist archetype wasn't changing their phantom's type to undead.
  • PF1 - The esoteric knight prestige class could not apply kinetic increases to kineticist.
  • PF1 - The gathlain race was missing its fly speed.
  • PF1 - Characters with the Deific Obedience feat could not specify a bonus type for obedience abilities that needed such.
  • PF1 - Characters with the Eldritch Heritage feat and the Arcane bloodline were unable to choose an arcane bond.
  • PF1 - The Reckless Rage feat was not modifying the effects of Power Attack when under the effects of raging song.
  • PF1 - Characters with multiple animal companions could not set the level of each companion.
  • PF1 - The homonculus familiar was getting two bite attacks.
  • PF1 - The cat's eye crown was granting 120 ft. darkvision when added to a character without darkvision.
  • PF1 - The Spells Cast Per Day adjustment couldn't set the spell level to modify.

Patch 2022-10-02

  • Moving gear from a container to the hero was failing, and moving gear from one container to another was resulting in bulk/weight calculation errors.
