SFS Updates

Client Changes and Improvements

  • Updated the app menu (gear icon) to more prominently feature links to the HLO Store and Manage Account

  • Added a new support operation to the troubleshooting menu.
  • Tweaked the display of some dice roll results breakdowns to be a little less busy.
  • The "Hide if GM approval needed" checkbox will now only be shown where there are selections that it could filter out.
  • PF2 - The "Hide special items" option on gear tables has been renamed "Show only mundane items" for greater clarity with regards to its function.
  • PF2 - Reversed the order of "Show only mundane items" and "Hide if GM approval needed"
  • PF2 - Added dice roller support for "Fatal" weapons. When rolling dice in the dice roller, checking the Critical checkbox will automatically boost the size associated damage dice to the correct size.
  • PF2 - Added a new "Specialty Gear" tab located between Gear and Magic & Alchemical Items. This tab includes a Specialty Gear table which contains more niche gear picks such as animals, assistive devices (new in Lost Omens Grand Bazaar), and gear modifications. The tab also includes the tables for Snares, Siege Engines (new in Guns & Gears), and Vehicles. New associated suspended gear and formula tables have also been added for the Specialty Gear and Siege Engine tables.
  • PF2 - Some of the formula and suspended gear tables on their respective tabs have now been grouped into collapsible sections.
  • PF2 - Magical ammunition no longer shows separate arrow, bolt, etc. versions of each. Instead, you add a generic version of that magical ammunition, and then choose the type once it has been added (or if you buy the ammunition directly on a weapon, it will automatically set itself as the ammunition type for that weapon).

Client Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where journal entries were being sorted alphabetically instead of by date in the journal details window side panel.
  • Fixed an issue where the details window side panel would be completely blank and titled "undefined" under some circumstances.
  • Fixed an issue where text in the HP input would get cut off when using the Shadow theme on iOS devices.

Game Mechanics

  • PF2 - The spells a magus gets from the studious spells class feature are now automatically added to their spellbook.
  • PF2 - Spider climb was missing from the magus's list of studious spells.
  • Pf2 - A magus was getting an incorrect number of advancement spells after 7th level.
  • PF2 - The Shisk Spine Stabber Feat was only applying 1d4 damage instead of 1d6.
  • PF2 - The short descriptions shown for the Sorcerer bloodlines have been improved.
  • PF2 - The Effortless Concentration wizard feat was incorrectly listed as being a 16th level feat.
  • PF2 - The Discerning Strike pathfinder agent feat wasn't correctly validating its feat prerequisite.
  • PF2 - The Vengeful Hatred dwarf feat was only adding +1 damage, rather than +1 per weapon damage die.
  • PF2 - The dweomercat cub familiar was incorrectly calculating its Speed.
  • PF2 - TheGreater Storm Flash was incorrectly listed as item level 14.
  • PF2 - The Tellric Power dwarf feat was adding a bonus to attack rolls instead of just to damage.
  • PF2 - Barbarian's Dragon's Rage Breath has been fixed to show the correct areas on breath weapons.
  • PF2 - Updated the Animal Skin barbarian feat to the latest errata.
  • PF2 - The Aasimar's Halo feat was missing a checkbox to track its activation state and was not showing in the special abilities list on the Play tab.
  • PF2 - The Corrupted Relic's sudden manifestation ability was applying its initiative bonus as a circumstance bonus, instead of a status bonus.
  • PF2 - The Universalist wizard summary was referencing the wrong ability name instead of Drain Bonded Item.
  • PF2 - The Call of the Grave focus spell's critical success text was missing punctuation.
  • PF2 - Improved the phrasing on the Virtuosic Performer feat's activation text.
  • PF2 - Some bombs were missing the reminder note that they only count as half a weapon on a character.
  • PF2 - The Evangelist Velstrac wasn't displaying its additional persistent bleed damage correctly.
  • PF2 - The wolf animal companion's support benefit was using old wording.
  • PF2 - The True Transmogrification summoner feat's name was misspelled.
  • PF2 - The Advanced General Training human feat's summary included a typo.
  • PF2 - Fixed typos and line breaks in the description for the following: Titan's Grasp magic item, Animate Rope spell, Warped Terrain spell, Charming Words focus spell, Force Bolt focus spell, Magic Sense feat, Summon Lesser Servitor spell, Floating Shield, Vengeful Hatred dwarf feat, Talisman Retrieval Prism, Phase Out summoner feat, Tempest of Shades spell
  • SF - The price of Heavy explosive rounds was too low.
  • SF - Changed the pre-req for Professional Hireling to Amateur Hireling Access.
  • SF - The Vlaka race's blind ability was imposing Initiative and Perception penalties.
  • SF - The Selamid race was showing an internal Id instead of a homeworld name in the homeworld list.
  • SF - The Screedreep race should be small.
  • SF - The Mechanic's Experimental Armor's Versatile Design ability, if you added flight, would not trigger the benefits of the Sky Jockey feat.
  • SF - Fixed a typo in the Percussive Maintenance feat's name.

Hotfix at 4pm Pacific

  • PF2 - We discovered that having classes in the GM Approval table can cause significant problems. While we work on a proper solution that will allow them to use this table again, we have removed classes from this table. In the meantime, you can give your character access to these classes by using the validation suppression options.
